Everything we do in the VC Children’s Ministry is inspired by our God-given desire to unveil God’s love to children and families. Each week the children learn a Biblically-based big idea and practical applications for their age level. These elements are presented in an exciting, interactive, and loving manner to which children enjoy coming back week after week.

The VC Children's Ministry involves four separate classes:

Infant Nursery (up to 18 months) - The infant nursery is where we love and nurture infants so parents can relax and focus on the service. Our volunteers love babies! Toddler Nursery (18 - 36 Months)

Early Childhood Class (3-4 years) - The early childhood class is a neat place for young ones. There is play time and snack (of course!), but in this class we start teaching age-appropriate, Biblically-based lessons. We understand how important it is to teach simple basic principles about the love of God that these little ones can understand. Early Elementary Class (K - 1st Grade) - The early elementary class steps deeper into spirituality while incorporating creativity and fun. Many teachers use aids such as puppets to share stories from the Bible. Sunday mornings are more structured for this group and always includes a craft, snack and activity. Children are also invited to share prayer requests. We try and incorporate lessons about Jesus in all that we do here. Elementary Class (2nd - 6th Grade) - Our elementary class teaches Biblical-based lessons and real life application through KidMo! Kidmo is an interactive celebration of the wonderful truth in God’s Word that is told in relevant kid terms. Worship and praise are a big part of this exciting class! Children also spend time in small group forming relationships, learning deeper meanings of scripture and being challenged to live out the lessons! Throughout the morning kids have the opportunity to earn bonus bucks by participating, doing their homework and knowing prayers, the 10 commandments, the memory verse and the books of the Bible.
